  •  We’ll bring Christmas Cheer to the mobility-impaired residents of Castner House at the Austin State Supported Living Center during their annual Tree of Lights Party.

  • We’ll sing Christmas Carols and assist the residents with arts and crafts. 

  • Please RSVP to Fr Paolo if you are able to attend. Given the resident’s fragile health and disabilities, masks will still be required, and you’ll have to review some dos & don’ts for the evening beforehand.

Zink Room: “Human Rights for All Human Beings,” a Consistent Life Ethic talk by Catholic young adult Aimee Murphy. Aimee founded Rehumanize International and just released a book that seeks to answer the question of who deserves human rights in a way that goes beyond the confines of political parties or religions.   • St Austin’s School is looking for volunteers to help with their annual Halloween Hoot! We'll staff booths with games and other fun activities for our families at St Austin’s School. 

  • The 8th grader’s Haunted House will bring fear to even the most resolute adult.

  • An after-party at the near-by Bouldin Acres will follow.

Mitzi Eastman will guide us through the spirituality and practice of making milagros, pieces of Mexican folk art representing the prayers of our hearts.

Your piece can be something you make as a gift or a piece to treasure at your home altar.

As we'll be painting and gluing, please wear comfortable clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

A $5 offering is requested to offset supply costs.

Dinner will be served at 6:30 before we meet at 7:15 PM.

  • Linda Carson served for decades as a hospital chaplain, praying with and counseling patients and families amid life’s most painful moments.

  • Come learn how to acknowledge the pain of grief, some ways to “ mitigate“ suffering, and what to say/do to comfort others who are experiencing loss.
